With some major structural changes in this mountain home we were able to open the floor plan to take advantage of the vast views as you walk through the front doors.

By installing steel "I" beams in the lower level ceiling and the second floor ceiling we were able to transfer floor load weight as well as the roof load down to the foundation. This enabled us to remove a structural kitchen wall and open up the space from the entrance to capture the beautiful views.

The homeowners had us install a floating hand carved floor over thier heated substrate, new cabinets, new appliances and countertops. We also had to move two windows to accomodate the new kitchen cabinet plan, reface the fireplace, installed new contemporary wire railings and a new front door entrance. All of these imporvements made a huge difference in the overall feel of the house and added quite a bit of value to the home as well.
