Whole House Remodel
Washington Park

This home was ideal for a family interested in updating modern features to an outdated floor plan in Washington Park. Not only did this increase living space for this family but the updates increased the quality of life and value of the home. In this historical remodel project the focus was to turn this once one bedroom two bath house into a three bedroom 4 bathroom home so that a family would be able to grow. The client wanted a new a master bedroom with a 4 piece bathroom, two additional bedrooms adjoined by a jack and gill bath as well as a second floor laundry room. Adding windows over the grand staircase allowed natural light to wash down through the main and second levels.

The main level remodel included a new kitchen connected by a family room and formal dinning room. Because this was a historical remodel project our focus was being able to preserve the original elements of the main level, such as the fireplace that was surrounded by the original bookcases and millwork.
